We are keen to share the beautiful surroundings of our sailing club with new members. Membership details are available here
The club is in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the Peak National Park, located in the pictures Goyt Valley between Buxton in Derbyshire and Macclesfield in Cheshire ( 53 16 37 N 1 58 29 W ). The reservoir occupies 80 acres. The Clubhouse has changing rooms, showers, toilets, galley and a 'dry area' from where spectators can view the sailing in comfort. There are also picnic benches in front of the club house. There are three slipways, a pontoon, a large dinghy park and car park.
We usually sail on Saturday mornings 9:00 till 1:00 and Sundays from 11:00, though this can vary. To be certain and to see who else will be coming please look on our forum under "Weekend Sailing" or leave a message to tell us your own plans if you like. To get to the forum, log in on the left.
